I realize now that I should've posted this before I posted the brainstorming thing but it's fine

Welcome to the Disorient Express! I hope you're ready for some murder and intrigue! I appreciate you all for taking the plunge with me into this new format of murder mystery game. There may be some hiccups along the way as we figure this out together, but I hope you'll be patient as we all try to craft the best murder mystery possible.

The game will start tomorrow, Sunday November 20th. There will be an intro log where characters will be boarding the train for the first time and getting to know each other. On Monday, a weekly log will be posted, along with links to talk to NPCs and set up private conversations with your buds.

In the meantime, feel free to introduce yourself to other people and get to know each other! Thanks again for joining us!

Anyways, as I said in the post, thank y'all so much for jumping into this! I'm going to be playing Arcade Gannon, a medical researcher from the US who is far too idealist for his own good. There are (founded) rumors that his dad used to be part of a big think tank that apparently was influencing politics? Which is probably why he works so hard to do altruistic/helpful things??? Anyways, he's here to be vaguely helpful and snippy.

I will also be playing the roles of the NPCs in this game (Andrea Romero and Ernest Devineaux), so your characters will be chattin' with me one way or another. Yahoo.

Hello again, friends! It's Rook here with Laerryn Coramar-Seelie from Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, one of those dang DnD actual play shows.

Laerryn in her canon is a powerful wizard and genius engineer. Here, she's just got the genius engineer part. She is on her way back to a home in London after showing off her work at a world science fair and totally not running from a messy separation with her arguably more famous husband. She is a busybody and suffers from being socially inept like a lot of nerds who go that hard at their science. Also, she is an elf and does not need to sleep. Not saying there's a competition, other scientists, but if there was... neener neener.

I myself am going to apologize pre-emptively, as I put together engineering resources, if I write something incorrect or anachronistic. Please forgive it as my fault, not hers.

I have been curious about Only Murders since it was first running an advertising campaign coming out! It looks funny and I always wondered how this young girl fits in with those oldbies. I may finally have to look into it!
